This challenging ride will also start at the Village Park and take you along the west side of the lake, but halfway down you will turn right and begin the long steady climb over the hill out of the Silver Lake area. The reward is a screaming fast descent on lightly traveled roads. You will continue on rolling roads through the small towns of Wyoming County to the drop into Pike where you will encounter the first of two rest stops. Make sure you are stocked up on energy cause the “fun” is about to begin. Taking country roads into Letchworth Park you will encounter some of the absolute best—and challenging—riding in the area. The climbs are tough but the curvy tree lined roads and the views of the Letchworth Gorge make it all worth while. Not to mention the downhill's are FAST! As you make the climb back out of the park to the finish in Perry you will relish in the fact that you climbed about 3000 feet in just over 50 miles. Once back in Perry you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day viewing the wonderful chalk art and sampling some fantastic food and drink.
